Takara Bio:

Takara's journey began in Adelaide, Australia, where she discovered her passion for music at a young age. At just ten years old, she started recording covers on GarageBand as a hobby. By 13, she was crafting beats in her bedroom and soon formed a rap group with other local talents.

In 2017, feeling a lack of representation in the Australian music scene, Takara took a bold leap of faith and relocated to Chicago. By 2020, now based in LA, Takara had cultivated a devoted following, achieving #1 on Australia's Triple J Unearthed with her track "Take Me Home." The following year, her singles, including the hit "Off My Mind" featuring an international collaboration, garnered significant attention, propelling her to #3 on Triple J Unearthed.

In 2022, Takara's fan base expanded exponentially with the release of her viral sensation "Strawberry Cake." As an independent artist, she has achieved remarkable success, accumulating over 100 million views on Instagram alone (@takarathekoala) and amassing more than 400,000 followers across various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Spotify) since dropping her debut album ‘Kinda Messy’ in July 2022.
